Application For Fellow Status

Division 55 welcomes applications for APA Fellow status for the 2007 cycle. The Division can consider both individuals who are not presently a Fellow in APA (new Fellow), and those who have been awarded Fellow status through another Division but are also members of Division 55 (current Fellow). The criteria adopted by the Board of Division 55 are noted below. Please be sure to note that the Division must document how your contributions are unusual and outstanding and how they have had national significance.

If you wish to be considered as a candidate for "new" Fellow status, please send an email requesting an application packet to: Dr. Alan Gruber.  In the heading of your e-mail, please include the words "Div 55 New Fellow." The packet includes a letter explaining the process and the requirements, as well as the APA Membership Office application and endorsement forms.

If you wish to be considered as a "current" Fellow, please submit a very brief statement indicating your desire to be considered for current Fellow status, and note which of the Division's criteria your work in the Pharmacotherapy area would address and how.  Included in the statement should be your name as it appears in the APA membership database, your APA membership number, and the Division(s) through which you already have been awarded Fellow status. This statement may also be sent to Dr. Gruber, and should be addressed To: Fellows Committee, Division 55.

If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Gruber via the email links above.
